Shipping Policy

Everything you need to know about how we ship your orders across the United States

1. Overview

Crimson Parts ships industrial automation components and spare parts to customers across the contiguous United States, Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories. We partner with trusted carriers including UPS, FedEx, and USPS to ensure your orders are delivered reliably and on time.

All orders are processed and dispatched from our fulfillment facility during standard business hours. Orders placed after the daily cutoff time will be processed on the next business day.

2. Order Processing Time

Once an order is confirmed and payment is verified, the following processing timelines apply:

  • In-Stock Items: Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 1–2 business days.
  • RFQ / Sourced Items: Items procured on request may require 3–10 business days for sourcing, inspection, and dispatch. You will be notified of the estimated ship date upon order confirmation.
  • Order Cutoff Time: Orders placed before 2:00 PM EST (Monday–Friday) are eligible for same-day processing on in-stock items.

Business days exclude weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and all U.S. federal public holidays.

3. Shipping Methods & Estimated Delivery Times

We offer the following shipping options for domestic U.S. orders. Delivery estimates are in business days from the date of dispatch and are provided by the carrier — they are not guaranteed unless noted.

Shipping method availability may vary based on package dimensions, weight, and destination ZIP code. The available options will be displayed at checkout.

4. Shipping Costs

Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on the shipment's weight, dimensions, destination, and selected shipping method.

  • Free Standard Shipping is available on qualifying orders over $500 within the contiguous United States (exclusions may apply for oversized or hazardous items).
  • Expedited and overnight shipping rates are determined in real time by the carrier and will be displayed before order confirmation.
  • For large, heavy, or freight-class shipments, a member of our team will contact you with a shipping quote prior to dispatch.
  • Crimson Parts reserves the right to select the most appropriate carrier for a given shipment at its discretion, provided the selected service meets the requested delivery timeline.

📦 Tracking Your Order: Once your order has shipped, you will receive an automated email containing your tracking number and a direct link to the carrier's tracking portal. Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking information to become active after dispatch.

5. Shipment Tracking

All shipments include carrier tracking. Upon dispatch, a shipping confirmation email will be sent to the email address on file, containing:

  • Your order number and item summary.
  • The carrier name and tracking number.
  • A direct link to track your package on the carrier's website.
  • Estimated delivery date as provided by the carrier.

If you have not received a shipping confirmation within 3 business days of placing your order, please contact our support team.

6. Delivery & Receipt of Goods

All shipments require a valid U.S. delivery address. We do not ship to P.O. Boxes for orders requiring a signature or for freight shipments. Please ensure your delivery address is accurate and complete at the time of ordering.

  • Risk of loss and title for products transfer to the buyer upon handover of the shipment to the designated carrier.
  • For high-value orders, a signature may be required upon delivery. The carrier will leave a delivery attempt notice if no one is available to sign.
  • Crimson Parts is not responsible for packages marked as "Delivered" by the carrier but reported as not received. In such cases, we recommend filing a claim directly with the carrier and notifying us so we can assist.

7. Shipping Delays

While we make every effort to dispatch orders within the stated processing times, Crimson Parts shall not be held liable for delays caused by:

  • Carrier operational disruptions, weather events, or natural disasters.
  • U.S. federal holidays or carrier-observed holidays.
  • Incorrect or incomplete shipping address provided by the customer.
  • Customs or import/export clearance procedures (for U.S. territories).
  • Circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to supply chain disruptions and force majeure events.

In the event of a significant delay, we will proactively notify you via email and work to resolve the situation as quickly as possible.

8. Damaged or Lost Shipments

Please inspect all packages upon delivery before signing for receipt. If you notice visible damage to the outer packaging, note it on the carrier's delivery receipt before accepting the shipment.

  • Damaged in Transit: Notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence of the damaged packaging and item(s). We will initiate a carrier claim and arrange a replacement or refund as appropriate.
  • Lost Shipments: If your tracking shows no movement for more than 5 business days, or your package is confirmed lost by the carrier, contact us and we will open a trace investigation and work toward a resolution.

Claims for damaged or lost shipments must be submitted to info@crimsonparts.com with your order number, tracking number, and supporting documentation.

9. International Shipping

While Crimson Parts primarily serves customers within the United States, we do accommodate international orders on a case-by-case basis. International customers should note the following:

  • All international orders must be requested via our RFQ (Request for Quote) form, as international shipping rates and transit times vary significantly by destination.
  • The buyer is solely responsible for all applicable import duties, taxes, customs clearance fees, and any other charges levied by the destination country.
  • Crimson Parts does not assume liability for shipments held, delayed, or seized by customs authorities.
  • Export of certain industrial components may be subject to U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR). We reserve the right to decline international orders that may conflict with applicable export control laws.

⚠ Address Accuracy: Crimson Parts is not responsible for shipments delayed or undelivered due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided at checkout. Additional carrier fees for address corrections or re-delivery attempts will be billed to the customer.

10. Freight & Oversized Shipments

Certain large, heavy, or palletised orders may ship via LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) freight carriers. For freight shipments:

  • A member of our logistics team will contact you to coordinate delivery scheduling and confirm any liftgate or inside delivery requirements.
  • Freight deliveries are typically made to a loading dock or curbside. Inside delivery and installation are not included unless separately arranged.
  • Freight transit times are generally 3–7 business days for domestic U.S. destinations, subject to carrier availability and route.
  • Additional freight surcharges may apply for residential addresses, limited-access locations, or deliveries requiring special equipment.
